There is now therefore the variant with solar module, in which a quartz movement from Seiko (cal. VS37A), which is indicated with an accuracy of +/- 20 sec. / Month, ticking.
(Addendum: had my clock after 5 weeks of operation, a deviation of about + 4.5 seconds more than you can not ask a quartz work well.)
Unfortunately, the product description is a bit misleading, so I would just like to correct a few details.
In the product description is, "... to operate more than 100 hours without recharging." That was one reason, the clock is not to buy, because I had to go out because of this description assumes that referred to in the .pdf manual "capacitor" really buffers only around 100 hours for me by a hair. Obviously, one has but in the house Detomaso difficulties with the translation of its own instructions, because in fact is a conventional buffer battery installed, which keeps a lot longer.
The right information can often be found in the product specification for Caliber:
Working time: Approx. 6 months (after fully charged)
Charging time: Approx. 6 hours (Under 100 KLX sunlight)
Approx. 43 hours (Under 3000LX Fluorescent Lamp)
That fits and makes sense ....
Apart from this mistake in the description of a truly beautiful and quality clock that I highly recommend. More clock will be found very difficult for that price.
