Easy installation, activation problems

I bought the product because of the good test results and the positive reviews and have (so far) have not been disappointed. Previously I had installed smoke alarm with 9V battery of another brand that triggered prompt on the second night of false alarms, which is why I have removed them immediately. The egg detector nervous not by constantly flashing and easily. Bonding I would still not recommend, but a 6 dowels thick enough (there are in the middle of a hole in the lid, so that's not a problem!). Then fix when activating the 3 V battery (installation of the detector in the lid in one direction) the cover with your hand briefly, done. When testing with the "broomstick" one must ever press twice, you will hear a short warning, a red light blinks once and rest. Whether the battery actually last 10 years remains to be seen.
Criticism of the "disposable detector" is certainly unwarranted, because in other detectors I produce every one to two-year-old batteries (which is environment friendly?). In addition, the detectors are not built to last. Dust, fume or insects penetrate the years and ultimately interfere with the sensitive measurements that every 16 seconds takes place in this unit.
