TomTom Universal Car Charger and Holder DEFINITELY works with Apple iPhone 5 / 5s

I had the previous Specialized Tom Tom Car Holder continued iPhones 4 / 4S (30 pin connector). I use a Tom Tom Holder with my iPhone for GPS driving directions when i travel. GPS from car rental companies are ridiculously expensive.

Obviously when i upgraded to iPhone 5s Last December, it not fit or work with old Tom Tom holder. Tom Tom then did not seem to make a specialized holder for iPhone 5 / 5s. After a lot of research, I found this Tom Tom Universal holder, but no information (other than customer reviews) Stating if it worked with iPhone 5 / 5s. I Decided to try it and I ordered one plus Apple Lightning to Micro USB Adapter. The adapter is Necessary to convert Micro USB plug on the holder to Apple Lightning connector.

My experience is the Tom Tom Holder Universal DEFINITELY works correctly as it should with iPhone 5 / 5s. Easy to mount and unmount your iPhone 5 / 5s from the holder, bluetooth connection works everytime and if you do not plug it in to your in-car sound system (via 3.5mm plug) then the speaker / microphone built in to the Holder works very well.

We have traveled extensively in Europe and US using Tom Tom app on my iPhone 5s with the TomTom Universal Car Charger and Holder. We have not had any problems with the holder and it is very easy to take from one car and install in another. Highly recommend this holder for fully featured way of Easily using iPhone GPS in a vehicle.
