Did not understand the hype about the game ...?

The game I have used in conjunction with a PS3 Slim, 2 + 3 and several other games bought Uncharted. I am also only been a few weeks owner of the game and a PS3.
I'm actually more of Nintendo gamers, possessed by the NES and Gameboy there to WiiU and 3DS all consoles and attack to a great experience in PC games, PSX PS2 + games back. The PS3 came with me, although late, but still in the house, because I wanted to make up for an exclusive title the PlayStation and I wanted to have a clever BR player. If you then after some "google" and friends / acquaintances ask a few answers collected, which PS3 exclusive games because you should have played, then comes (among others) as good as always the Uncharted series to! So my bundle was not so wrong, I thought;)

Now to the actual game:

About the story, I will have nothing more to say new to a 7-year-old game, only this: The plot is simple: Treasure hunter on a treasure hunt, a group of corrupt treasure hunter wants me to take away my treasure and so one gets the complete game again and again to each other. A few twists in the plot, 1-2 times I was even surprised himself, but only partially positive because some of it is so absurd and clichéd as it can only be in a very bad B movie. Especially the chapter just before the end of me are very displeased in the story, the ending was then a - in my opinion - rather abrupt end, the whole big bang did not come, the final battle actually rather unspectacular.

From the gameplay I had hoped for most! However, I was really satisfied here only in the first half to a full hour. It plays like a mix of Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia, today we would also about Assassins Creed, including (which is not means something like Uncharted came first, AC 1, there were roughly at the same time). However, Uncharted is playing significantly tubular. The player has no really decide which way to hammer, there is just only one this! Nathan, the protagonist, climbs, jumps and swings tirelessly from rope to edge to cliff wall cutouts that sometimes you think you're controlling something inhuman! Helped is usually a camera with guides that indicate a jump to the next destination. Who crashes or presses the jump wrong, falls deeply (or sometimes only 2 meters, but dies anyway ^^) and is set back on a fair added savepoint.
As I have just mentioned, the first hour really liked it actually, since not only the control was very well explained here but here the paths set by gorges and temple with light but nice puzzles well staged. Had the game gone on at such a scale, my vote would be a very different! But then as soon as the first shootings emerge forfeit the game to the end in one to withdrawing Geballer which repeats itself over and over again! Once a couple of flashing weapons (why? Popups?!) Can be seen in the next section, you can already set the clock thereafter and is looking for a suitable cover. Here, the game plays somewhat like a Gears of War, so take cover, out hatches times, make someone cold, use cover, reload, on we go. In such sections then dip happy times on 1 dozen crooks, who are armed to the teeth and with their mostly short-west on shirtless several shots endure as a tank. Such passages simply remember also to the hose levels of CoD and I find it a shame that a game that begins so well, so quickly flattens. I have stopped nothing against a few shootings, because the story is indeed just by the conflict means that you have to fight through since. However, the rest is told quickly extent from the game: a few climbing documents to the closest area, which holds great again for a new shoot-forth, after this battle again a climbing passage to the next massacre. The AI ​​is absolutely the way underground. It remains just long enough to cover at some point come the run after they have fired Felt 20 Magazine on a before the gun .... The cutscenes I was actually quite OK! Although the dialogues usually not the best were (cliché again onto cliché), so this was a good (especially 7 years ago) staging of the scenery, which could catch me after frequent banging every now and then. Overall, there were many scenes in the game. I played on heavy and had about 8 hours used according to statistics (probably more, I'm assuming that a few deaths on my part not enter into the actual savegame or the time was there with incremented). I guess with about 10-15% cutscene share. However, I have hoped for a little more of the characters. A little background information (except that the descendant of Nathan navigator Francis Drake is - what comes at the very beginning almost in the first sentence - I know nothing about the guy) you can bring there already.

To point graphic: I have looked again at Wikipedia, the game came out in late 2007. Therefore, I will spare me any evaluation of the graphic because it simply would not be objective. Just as Nintendo players I can not say the loudest screams ... ^^ However, it remains that the graphics are good, especially about 1 year after the release of the PS3 since. Everything is great staged like a blockbuster. Today it is much better, of course, accustomed. However, right after I Uncharted Uncharted 2 (Release 2 years later) started, which is again an immense leap forward!

I come to my final conclusion: Graphic good! Sound good! I can just ignore even when the gameplay is right on a not quite as titillating story. But this has to bored me more shocked. After a good beginning came an endless loop of banging that degenerates in abstruse that my desire for the game was almost gone. I can not imagine why a lot of this game partying so ...?!? I after nearly 25 years experience gamers already seen too much? I am accustomed to a very different claim of many games other platforms that have especially more than just graphics and crash-boom to offer? Or is it simply so that most find the trilogy Uncharted so well? I have now played part 2 about halfway through the game's much more fun and I regret it almost, Part 1! (It should be said that Part 1 is not imperative to durchzublicken in part 2 has a completely different story, but there was much too little information in Part 1. The one time or another cutscene with Elena but already inspired by the the first part, though not mandatory). I do not want to talk badly the game, but I stand by that me only the staging and the first few chapters had really moved to continue playing. The rest of the game I have unfortunately only been because I just wanted to play part 2 and had hoped for, so as not to be quite so ignorant, but it was hardly necessary retrospectively.
