Does not deserve the name of encyclopedia ...

For me, this book is a disappointment. The presentation is beautiful and very easily found the entry that interests us, but damn, the entries are short on information !!!! We found the doctor met, place of origin, some general information that we already know if we saw the episodes or concerned and that's it.

No name actor.
No names or number of episodes involved.
No basic information about the physical (size, etc.).
No biography, no period, even approximate, of life (sometimes, though, but this is not systematic at all).
No information on the body or physiology (body type suited to a style of life, to escape a particular predator, to better take some prey better understand certain things, etc.).
No info about the design (constraints linked to means logical "Darwinist", etc.).

In short, there is not much in the end. I must say that over a half-page A5 taken by the illustration (these are quality-it says) and fatty police texts 14. Put together on a page, the text covers 1/4 or maximum 1/3 of the page and the illustrations also a good third. This leaves 1/3 empty. One would not because the text ends surround the illustration, but that's the case.
To top it all, it lacks the characters: no White Guardian (but his evil counterpart, the Black Guardian is present, which further highlights the absurdity more), there is no Churchill, HG Wells or even Charles Dickens (I pass on Marco Polo, Louis XV, and many others!). Yet the same vein, in historical character, although it was Madame de Pompadour ... Besides that, we Salamander, a fictional dictator of season 5, episode Enemy of the world, the classic series. Nothing on historical figures mentioned but not seen (Charlemagne among others). A very large number of missing entry and inadequate size (A4 with one can make a personal record in 1 page = 1. In A5, it takes two pages to a sheet. Minimum)

Almost empty and incomplete information, this encyclopedia real fake disappoint if you already know the series and tell you absolutely nothing. In fact, its price seems unjustified and should not exceed 10 euros. A very superficial book. I recommend refer to "Who-ology", though more restrained, but much more interesting.
