We have had a dedicated (and very expensive) espresso machine (not fully automatic), just to make wonderful espresso. Of course, a filter holder, of course, with more than 16bar - course 2 separate heating and pressure systems and as it should be in the filter holder and not somewhere: big and heavy. We have always brought beans from a roaster from the neighboring village and freshly ground. 250g to 20, but the flavor unsurpassed. The first espresso (actually a Caffè) I could drink without sugar. I see, I'll go into raptures ;-) Why I write that? - Oh, the machine is before Christmas after a long time and good services broke down (compressor). While rummaging for Christmas presents, I came by chance to the Bialetti Brikka and have ordered these for further research on the World Wide Web at Amazon. The new method (crema valve) is now - finally the coffee are discharged quickly and with a dash of "Alu-part" in contrast to the known. Hmmm, sounds like good marketing I thought to myself. The small portion above the outlet to cause this wonder! We should see. In short: We have the Bialetti Brikka now since Christmas in use and the only question that now arises: Buy we still, but not when I bring a second Bialetti Brikka our defective espresso machine for repair. Nearly 30, - hit 1,300. Ok, not so elegant, not so hard, but the Caffè is second to none ... and with Crema. Two notes still: a) No, it still does not work with an induction cooker and b) of coffee makes the music. With the usual suspects such as Illy you get off to a very ordinary Caffè. Who but once you take the trouble and gets for "holidays" not mass-roasted beans, which will penetrate into new taste dimensions. Oh yes, we now have a second Bialetti Brikka ...
