My children know and love about Mario Kart Wii, an action-packed racing fun with good graphics and fast-paced and interesting courses. I was expecting something similar from Bibi.
The disappointment began already at the opening credits. I thought there is something pretty animated - instead came an episode from the comic with alternating superimposed immovable images - after all, with the original cast. And the whole story then also extremely thin to justify somehow why z. B. Bibi's father suddenly can also fly to the witches' broom.
For the actual game is then accessed by a character selection on the selection brush (my kids demanded Bibi and of course mashed potatoes). The race starts and already I wanted to chase away ... but an impression of speed never goes on. Bibi flies leisurely and may from time to collect bottles - just like Mario Kart the dice with the question mark. And even here there are effects like invulnerability or that suddenly can not see anything else. But what exactly has been collected there, you can not really recognize.
For "fog effect": Who knows Mario Kart, the blobs will know on the screen, making it difficult to find the way. Here, however, the fog is so thick that it is not only difficult - it has virtually no chance.
This finding of the course falls hard enough. Man flying about through streets and alleys with many branches. Only an odd stain, which is suddenly in the middle of the street, reveals that one because it can not continue. So you will be brought back on track. For children absolutely unplayable! For adults an ordeal.
There remains the graphics. The images are not kidding. Just as it looks on the screen. And Bibi you get really ever seen only as from behind. And as already stated R. Jasmine: The "racing commentator" Karla Kolumna is an inexpensive 3-D model that barely moves his lips and has no texture.
If I had money for this game spent - I would have eaten a broom.
