Having worked for years with the flat keys on a keyboard Siemens this is the next step in an even flatter keyboard.
Having previously read some opinions on the evolution stream, I had my fears for the quality, but there were all kinds of opinions from top to problematic. Although I certainly can give here no comment yet for durability of the keyboard I have to say: So far, I am very satisfied. All keys will operate equally well and even if you press only one corner of the key cap, there is no problem. Cherry seems to have touched up with the XT yet or there was previously a large series dispersion.
I find the keyboard class because:
- Good typing feel (clear pressure point)
- Good response (even if keys are not taken optimal)
- Pleasantly flat
- Good free processing
- Good weight of the keyboard. Not just as a bit lightweight plastic. Since metal's inside
- Normal keyboard layout with slightly narrower space bar (no strange arrangements with insert, delete ...
- Special keys only at the top of the keyboard. Embedded discreetly deeper and only 6 pieces - not plastered the entire keyboard so
I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I miss is a wireless version of this keyboard. But maybe yes Cherry throws out the B.UNLIMITED and changes to this model. All others have unfortunately no usable keyboard layout, or a huge palm rest in front.
