In the round there is always an inspector, a court leader (which is a kind of referee), a murderer and several suspects.
The aim of the inspector: unmask the murderer!
Not to be unmasked: The aim of the murderer!
To be self appears as the alleged killers: The aim of the remaining suspects!

The inspector interrogated in any order and in two phases all suspects (which are determined at random), of which he does not know which of them is the real killer. The suspects have in their time-limited plea (using the included Hourglass) accommodate three terms that are dictated in the books, which are included in the scope of their game. Both the setting of the murder case and the characters, which must take the players and also the to-housing words (all included in the books) are strange and funny in any case. The highlight of the matter is (and the only way for the inspector to unmask the murderer) that the murderer of other words to say in his plea MUST than his colleagues - and he does not know what words to say this. So must listen carefully both the inspector, as well as the killer and the innocent suspect which words (which are very noticeable in almost every case) are meant.
The murderer tried both his, and the words of the suspects accommodate to undetected to stay (and thus to get points) and the suspects do it the other way around, so that they appear as a murderer (and thus get a more points).
The inspector has in a practiced group little chance to unmask the real killer - the greater the joy when he creates it yet (and it gets points)!
The role of the inspector and the court scribe wanders openly per round is always a player on, so that each time a being of both. Whether one is a murderer or a suspect, but you can not influence as this is done randomly and obscured.
In addition, all but the inspector may give a hint as to whether the inspector the real killer unmasked (this is the only way for the court clerk to make points). If you are correct with their tip, there's a bonus point.
Overall, this game is a real feast! Our playgroup always had a lot of fun and laughs were guaranteed.
Nevertheless, there are two things to note:
1. The game is exhausting. We have never more than two times in a row played because you have to be extremely careful (especially as a murderer and inspector) to not pointless to go out of the round. Also playing the roles and improvise connected for us (as a non-actors) in a certain way with a high intellectual effort.
2. (with us not, but I'm speculating here) The game depends on the players. Is not happy improvisation group, can / will not act or does not like the monkey, you should here probably better stay away from. The more the players identify with their assigned character and breathing life into them, the more fun it gets!
It is worth mentioning that the supplied books should be treated carefully, because the suspects books and the murder book are identical from the outside - only when the books are distributed randomly and the players open the book, the player detects whether it is murder or not (using a blood stain in the middle / column of the book on each side). However, damaged or marked to the books from the outside in any visible way, so you already know when distributing the books (and thus also the roles), who is playing whom, and the game is useless! Perhaps useful for those who want to play this game with your kids (or clumsy friends) -> The books of the suspects and the murderer must look from the outside always the same!
Conclusion: for a play group, which is open for this type of mini-improvisational theater, strong buy recommendation!
