However, we must not forget that the steamer that makes the job so if your cleaner is of lesser quality, you will have plenty of water.
Personally I use the SC3000 Karcher and virtually no water unlike a conventional stripper that generates a lot of water (not steam).
In short, that's good for the product. The nozzles were not at all stuffy, but it's also because I use demineralized water only (2 to 5L, so it's going).
For information, to take off the paper with a room about 10m I used 6L, while selecting the "turbo" mode steam cleaner, to make more steam.
