First two Arista albums produced lots of country hits

Having recorded one album for Warner, Above and Beyond the Doll of Cutey, did only yielded minor country hits, Pam Eventually signed for Arista, where she was very successful with her first three albums and moderately successful with her next three. Five country hits came from the first and four from the second. Of These, Do not tell me what to do, one of those things, Maybe It was Memphis, Shake the Sugar Tree and Let That Pony Run were all huge hits peaking at # 6 or better, though Pam had to wait until her next album for a # 1 hit.

The first thesis of albums which not only more successful than the second Commercially, but is so the one I prefer, albeit slightly. Anybody who knows my tastes Knows That I am at least as likely to prefer a less successful album, but with Pam's music, I seem to prefer the more popular albums Generally.

Pam had even greater success with her next album, Which is my favorite among all her albums and has been re-issued with her fourth album as Sweetheart's Dance / All Of This Love.

For Those Who Enjoy nineties country music. this twofer is excellent.
