Fit, odors? Matter of luck!

Because both depends on where they were manufactured.
I've had crocs from Mexico, Italy, China and Vietnam. Despite each of the same size have all fit differently. And that's something I can understand difficult even with shoes from different manufacturers.
As may be too small and by 1 cm to 39 large (or 7) times 1cm. That's a difference of 2 cm and accounts for more than just size.
In the house "croc" it's got to be some sort of quality management, which ensures that the sizes of the various production sites is always the same. And that may well not be so heavy. I imagine as a tool form into which these plastic / rubber is poured and pressed - done.
And depending on the size of the die comes up out the case, what comes out.
So it's only the dies must be the same everywhere. This really is now not be difficult.

Aprospos rubber mass. Why can not you put on the models of the same Italy, while the Vietnam once must let evaporate at least a week somewhere so they do not smell like an extension cord for outdoor use?
The nose and the smell suggested buys with pure chemistry, you would not know on bare feet. At least not at the Vietnam models.
But unfortunately there is no choice when buying by country of origin, at least not here, or by mail order.
The previously purchased shoes size 38/39, which proved to be much too small, came from Italy. Same model, same color.
