I have both problems with external dimensions - the panel will not fit in my case from Cooler Master - it is about 2mm too wide.
The internal dimensions, more specifically in the amount not fit quite right. The recess has a height of 27 millimeters, making it 2 millimeters higher than two different USB3.0 front panels, which I wanted to bring it.
Conclusion: Probably these cover only fits in housing from the same manufacturer. For all others it is a matter of luck if it fits anyway.
