Now for the product.
The first impression was quite positive. Overall, the housing is kept very minimalist and it was used no frills, or other distracting things.
Scope of supply:
- A USB 3.0 cable (also fits into USB 1.0 and 2.0)
- The housing
- Manual (quite clearly)
- Spare parts: self-adhesive foam for fixing and vibration insulation
Connecting:
At first I wanted the point where going to open "the device" .... the guide has betrayed me;). Then I have the hard drive clean and pressed gently pushed into the default port (see instructions provided). Gently close the lid and my masterpiece admired (Child's). Cable in "the machine" on one side and the USB side into the PC. A tiny LED (blue) showed me that's all cool. The computer recognizes the hard disk directly and it had nothing to install. The expansion was also great and again without a hitch (have 3 hard drives).
Function:
As already explained, the computer has detected everything right and nothing needed to be installed. Whether hard drive format, partition, write, erase, or data recovery .... Everything works without friction! I can not say much because I currently have no SSD to test the speed. However, the speed is very good at "normal" SATA hard drives and it is also not too hot. : D When reading, or writing to the blue LED (which says everything is cool) red.
Test result:
The housings do not flare from, everything is stable, looks good, works as it should, and the price is great!
Obergeil not to say: super cool !!!
Can be purchased with a clear conscience!
