I had decided for this kettle, because he has a temperature control. The device is for example already off at 50 degrees so depending on the position of the controller. Ideal for a cup of instant cappuccino.
Unfortunately disappointed the device here: When heating small amounts of the water is usually brought to a boil, only in larger quantities it works premature shutdown.
Because other devices this function does not offer 5 star Nonetheless yes, and thus no disadvantage.

Something I was uncertain in the purchasing decision, because the kettle lacks some Ausstattungsmkermale who other Cooker:

- No water level indicator from the outside.
But: It is therefore possible that the device is completely inside of Edelstahtl without plastic inserts without holes, and that is super hygienic.

- Lid stays open not alone. You always have to push with one hand the suspension down when filling.
But: This allows the lid open accidentally when pouring out, that brings security. And the lid is very stable and durable.

- No anti-scale filter.
But: If a scale filter do not clean (? And who does that), he developed soon for bacteria collection. And who decalcified his kettle once a week (which you should do anyway), do not need a scale filter, even with very hard water as with us in Cologne.

- "Only" 1800 Watts.
But the higher the temperature of the heating element, the greater the noise (produced when the water particles are heated faster than it can supply heat to other particles). And just because other Kocher trumps with ever higher watt numbers is 1800 W still a lot.

Now I am completely satisfied with my purchase. A simple, and precisely because of good device.
