Cardboard indicates 2 hours of battery life with light charging the battery, which suggests a power LED 12W (10 times more than the SOL model 04).
Even if the lamp appears to be working when we unpack the carton, you must charge it for more than 16 hours with a charger 12V / 400mA (not provided but exists as supply of most AA / AAA battery chargers) or letting the solar panel charge the battery for 4 days.
I measured the voltage output of the solar panel: 8V to 10V and an overcast sunlight, suggesting an integrated regulating solar panel to charge the 6V battery even on cloudy days without providing a negative voltage to battery.
The manual suggests that the housing LED / battery is not fully waterproof (probably at the screws where water can accumulate when the projector is mounted horizontally at least cover the gel Silicone where to place this under cover lamp). This is a point on which attention must be paid.
After a few years of use, failure to appear. I suspect the battery to have a rather limited lifespan.
