The product do a very high-quality impression and works well. Only the manufacturer's product description can give rise to the false expectation that you can play a Toslink source to the RCA outputs. But that's not because the device does not have built-in decoder. That Toslink signal pure / Toslink signal out pure or RCA signal and RCA signal works out. It does not work Toslink to RCA or vice versa.
