Good software, poor Hartdware

The E4270 EU's my second Navi made by Medion. The first, a 3212, still works (at a friend) and got us totally reliable from North (Zeeland / Usedom) to south (Côte d'Azur / Lake Garda / Provence) accompanied and guided. So my expectations were high.
The E4270, which I have received, is regular goods, no B-Ware or bought second-hand. Right at the beginning of the display responded so sluggish that passed by tapping to a reaction up to 5 sec.. Sometimes it also governs not at all. Relatively long it took until the GPS signal was found. It was also on longer distances before the GPS signal is lost. Occasionally froze the picture while driving, the voice was at times but continue instructions. In tunnels the Navi often disoriented "Please contact". These errors we often allowed to experience in Italy and Switzerland. But even in the Ruhr to food seems to have the Navi "orientation problems".
Then we complained about the Navi, and asked for conversion. We have completely returned it in Origanverpackung. It came after 5 weeks "tattered" back (the Orignainnenverpackung was gone, all parts packed in foil) with a photocopied piece of paper (report) that all values ​​lie in the normal tolerance.

The GoPal software I can deal well: I had been playing a map update for 2/2013 and TMC-Pro with no problems. But I knew that already from the previous device, the updates there were any problems.
Conclusion: se I have been satisfied with a Medion device, however, a bad device in conjunction with a sloppy customer service let me avoid all further contact with this company.
