Already the first simple features that I'm used to from the previous model to function poorly faulty. The device remembers not only the last played file, but equal to the whole folder. At 30-50 files per folder is in the list quickly what together and thereby of course useless. The favorites that I use personally very intense here not operate at all. They can indeed invest, but do not select. Once made settings of the folders from the device does not remember. Every time the thumbnail view is activated again. Starting a video file takes forever. The previous model had only betw. 2 and 3 seconds. The user menu looks a bit cumbersome and not always responds accurately to the remote control. Some of the device crashes and for no apparent reason.
Unfortunately, two of the new features, which I have particularly looked forward turned out to also be not yet quite ready for everyday use. The mouse and keyboard support is solved strange. I can not directly write text boxes (eg in recruitment or in the Web browser). This is the one activated with ENTER only indirectly via an input side. Here you write also remotely using the cursor keys. For my taste, not really successful solution, especially when advertised with native support. But was likely that only the recognition of USB keyboards and mice meant. The devices must be connected before the start, otherwise there is no recognition. Then, the second feature, the Web browser - before a lack of "native" keyboard only half as good to use it is also incredibly slow. General Conclusion, I could read: The device may lack sophisticated firmware, its technical potential is not exploited.
