Since the cartridge of my HP inkjet printer were dried and thus unusable again, I've been thinking about a new device and the decision that it had to be a laser printer printer was quickly fixed. When comparing products, I quickly found that color laser no longer are so expensive. The laser cartridges are not much more expensive than ink and dry not a least. The Brother MFC has convinced me of the scope of services and price and that it also incorporates double sided, is a little sweet. I installed it as a network printer at the Fritz box. That went relatively smoothly. The pressure for everyday use writing is very good. I print a lot of manual work instructions and the photo quality sufficient for this perfectly. Photos that I would frame and hang up, I would not necessarily print with this printer. Although you can adjust the print quality in the printer menu, but the colors are simply times not so brilliant as in the actual photo. There are also problems in the paper tray when you insert glossy photo paper in the normal paper feed. This always produces the error message "Paper Jam", although the paper was not feeding time (hence only 4 stars). About the manual feed thick paper is not a problem. Scans have a decent quality and you have several ways to store them (image, pdf, etc.) The menu system on the unit is easy and over the Fritz box in great detail. Thus, this printer meets my needs for everyday life and I would recommend it in good conscience.
