ATTENTION: Please note that the Rode NT1-A is a condenser microphone and this benötig PHANTOM POWER !!!
The micro I have connected to my American Audio M822 FX Mixer, this mixer also offer the required phantom power that the Rode NT1-A is required.
However, I have to deduct a star because the microphone is really extremely quiet, I am therefore sure me that the suitability for me since I am a little more "pressure" need, so I do not so loud "screaming" must. While I can turn up the volume control on all my blender, but it overrides and the intrinsic noise can be heard, as well as to perform any ambient noise.
I'm going to the micro-test for a few days and we will see in the attached DVD, maybe I'll find a tip on YouTube. If I do not get that with the volume and also not find anything useful, I will send the microphone back. .... Still get the Rode NT1-A 4 of 5 stars
Edit:
So after I already have the Rode NT1-A for a while, I was able to get a better picture of me. I have the mic sometimes connected to my Behringer QX1202 and also because you get excellent sound.
I had also written that the Rode NT1-A is too low, it's true in principle, but, you can at the mixing console so easy the Faders and turn a compressor to as the NT1 indeed has an extremely low self-noise, you can the make readily.
I therefore alters in favor of the Rode NT1-A rating on my 5 stars, because that really deserves this microphone.
An audio sample I have just uploaded. Have fun listen.
