After paying about 10 for this book, and received what looks like a pile of A4 sheets printed in landscape, folded in two, and connected by Amazon, I wondered if I had not been a little ... duped. The author is a blogger, not easy to find information on him to see if his advice is legitimate or if the book was imagined when taking a shower. In leafing quickly, I realized that the police were quite large, and almost non-existent layout. Maybe I'm a little picky level layout, but the failure to see any paragraph justify me almost as bad as if the book was written in Comic Sans ... But do not just judge a book by its cover. The introduction alone spoken to me, I found myself in the guy in his twenties, but not too organized, procrastinator, feeling that even forcing thoroughly and exploding back to work I would never amount to "fulfill" my life, that remarkable people had to get out of another mold providing them with outstanding ability to "change the world". I got a little information about the author, and even if it is not a great international star, he still managed to do things out of the ordinary. Anyway, he does things that many of us will never like to have put this book in my hands. The techniques he has probably not going to get incredibly rich, will not work overnight and probably will not make you a superhero. They will still allow you to change your life, as he managed to change his, and to believe the English comments, the life of a lot of people.
This book describes the use habits / routines to improve productivity and especially use it effectively and optimally motivation. Assuming that the motivation is not infinite, and that one has only a limited amount over a certain period of time, depend solely on his motivation to perform tasks and meet its objectives is not good method. The author describes how, with the usual creation and maintenance, it is possible to do even more things in his life. In the first part, he talks about habits, their functioning and their implementation in everyday life. In the second part, it explains how to choose a new habit to suit our needs, how to get rid of old habits, how to redirect ... In the third part, it presents a certain number of habits according to different fields (social, productivity, ...), their advantages and disadvantages, how to set them up and personal remarks.
An excellent book, a little expensive, but gives advice that can really make a difference if you are willing to change certain aspects of your life, even if, as the author explains, "the good habits are more complicated to follow that bad, they just are harder to implement. " And once it's in place, it is up to you to make them last using little motivation not see every day ...
