Honest headphones - with good, very clear sound

... I add just a few aspects ...
Sound:
The sound of the Presonus HD7 is very clear and free of distortion even at higher volumes. The bass and mids are nicely differentiated. The heights by these clearly something sharp, which is not suitable for any style of music. During classical music and are mapped very well balanced "natural" is sometimes a bit exhausting to listen "electronically" dominated music. Many sound and vocal mistakes are more audible the map etws musty than headphones. Hissing and Poplaute be shown to honest with individual songs, of which the musical enjoyment can suffer before also, especially if the music is highly compressed (Note: I do not mean MP3!).
Who itself is composed music appreciate this honesty, because the problems are much more audible and can be equal leveled off.

Comfort and quality:
The structure is simple, inexpensive and practical - in cast good workmanship.. The pressure of the HD7 can be set well above the bracket (slight bending of wires) - without there being visible "bends". Outwardly the ear pads are slightly open, so that a part of the sound from leaking - for travel perhaps rather not.
In my opinion the ear cushions could be a bit dizzy because these press aorta or behind the ear. When it is reduced the total pressure better - even if this does not completely disappear so I'd say it's okay. At the same time, the slightly firmer material in turn ensures a certain resistance (artificial leather). The cushion can be removed and cleaned (possibly buy more).

Conclusion:
Presonus HD7 has found me his place. The price performance ratio is very good in my opinion. If you can live with the partially sharp heights (or used Equalizer) is a set of headphones with very clear sound.
