Why should you buy the camera:
For me, the currently ideal compromise between quality, flexibility (interchangeable lenses) size and speed.
Who does not wish to change lenses, the Sony RX100 should view.
The full potential can only be achieved with RAW image files and corresponding development. This is time-consuming. Who does not want to go into the RAW processing, will still be happy with the A6000 but should draw a bridge camera into consideration.
Some points in brief:
- Description: Sony Alpha models: ILCA and ILCE (last letter A or E mount) - the A6000 is of different programs (computer / cell phone / tablet / compatibility App Store) appears as "ILCE-6000", the name but you can also Change the camera menu.
- Actually, the A6000 is a NEX. This designation was abandoned by Sony. All cameras (A or E mount) are now called Alpha.
- Firmware: There is an update to 1.10 (30/10/2014) - (There is also a firmware for each lens)
- APS-C image sensor, Crop factor 1.5 - all details x 1.5
- Objective: SEL (Sony Emount Lens) or from third-party
- Good overview of all Emount objectives: [...] steffenhopf - Photographic equipment / Sony NEX-E lenses /
- Sony support site, there is what features are supported by which lenses (for example, the fast hybrid focus) described: [...] Sony website: Support Emount fixed
- The built-in flash casts a shadow on longer interchangeable lenses.
- Remote control with your phone / tablet works well, there you can also change the focus point by touch screen, unfortunately I can not do it to make continuous shooting (even if continuous shooting is set on the camera)
- App Store, you can also charge balance. When you pay then is indeed credit card but if you buy it selects deducted from the balance (I had no credit card details given)
- A book to help many camera settings and the functionality to overlook. Frank Späth I can recommend
- With videos on the Internet you get a fair idea about the camera and lenses possible
