This DeLorean it verschlägt Marty to 1955, where he has his hands full, that his mother not in love with him, but in his wallflower of father. A thirty-years his junior version of Doc helps him. As permanent adversary Biff occurs, a physically strong, but stupid Halbstarker who has it in for the McFly.

The film has a very unique naïve charm, from the 80s anthem "The Power of Love" (Huey Lewis and The News), about Marty's wild guitar solo in "Johnny B. Goode", the running joke with "Calvin Klein" to the many quirks of struwwelhaarigen Doc. Just a great comedy that still has cult even 30 years later.
