The silver-gray handle is to a large extent made of plastic, but makes a stable impression. The handle can be turned in both directions, so that it is suitable for both left- and for right stop.
The installation is fairly simple: Consider the mounting of the window handle, then you also know how to get the old previously removed. The batteries are inserted in the window handle, the battery cover is secured with a tiny screw. After that, the window handle in the locked position monitors (handle down) about possible shocks to then trigger an alarm. Both in the two lateral grip positions, as well as in the upper position, no alarm is triggered.
In itself, this is a good thing - but unfortunately the alarm is so low that it can hardly frighten a burglar. In volume I sleep calmly, and the neighbors no longer hear the alarm guaranteed. Comparable are tone and volume most likely with the electronic toys of the 80s and 90s.
