Netgear vs. Fritz

I have these repeaters Netgear bought because my has hitherto sparking the net Fritz Repeater permanently lost the connection to the Internet. I have tested all the settings - without success. New OS - without success. 2-3 times a day, Mr. Fritz has cut the connection - just annoying. Switching to Netgear Extender was the solution. Had I known earlier ... well. The integration into the WLAN network - nothing easier Netgear infect boot, connected via WPS button with the Fritz box as the - that.. The integration of WLAN devices need a little more time because this Extender for each device a virtual MAC - address created. So you have each device 2x log into the router. Once with the orig. MAC address and once with the virtual from the Extender. But is not a problem as the virtual MAC address only by the first 4 digits different from the original. After the MAC address filtering activated again - and everything funzt. Maybe it's to the externally mounted antennas, but the performance of the Netgear is higher in the same location as the Fritz Repeater. No more disconnections - everything supi and therefore 5 star.
