The precision fit this camera Preparedness pocket for Canon PowerShot G1X is very deficient. The bag is made of 2-form parts. The inside cover of the camera bag (Part 1) is fastened with a screw to the tripod mount (screw) the camera on the bottom. The outer cover (part 2) is on both sides on the outside of the inner cover (part 1) attached, each with a push button and then guided virtually from the rear to the above, or in front, through the lens and then around folded down to the camera and there to the bottom mounted next to the screw with a sharp snap. This outer cover is in form very far manufactured ("wabbelt" quasi around the lens), so that the whole structure looks as if it were not an exact fit and especially for this camera (PowerShot G1X) produced. The outer cover is in a way much too large and covers the camera lens from inadequately. When closed, the camera bag with camera looks as if either would be appropriate even a bit too big porch on the camera. Thus, the outer covering really an exact fit the front of the camera, or lens covers, one would have to let them rework an exact fit of a saddle (or good shoemaker). Probably I let this improvement also run yet. On the front of the folded cover is not as clearly seen in the sales figure to see in the material unobtrusively into embossed lettering "PowerShot" but it was silver mounted there on a cheap piece of plastic the inscription "G1X". I can only advise against buying this camera bag for Canon PowerShot G1X. For that kind of money you can in my opinion - even if it is at the outer cover to a so-called soft material - expect an exact / good fitting accuracy and overall better quality, especially since this camera bag is specifically touted for the PowerShot G1X.
