- Unit smaller than intended (indeed has as much pixels as my 24-inch monitor)
- Heavier than expected, slightly uncomfortable
- Picture perfectly, writing sharp, colors OK
- Brightness is sufficient for enclosed spaces; there can be seen because of extreme shadowing anyway hardly what. Under the open sky barely usable.
- Slideshow actually OK, but not loads images before (like FastStone on the PC), so that there is a visible reloading (Sharp Will) of the image every time; very uncomfortable, perhaps there is an app that does this, the built not, is even considerably worse than my favorite QuickPic
- Videos OK, no shocks, sometimes problems skip forward. Plays the video of my Sony NEX-5N (with my favorite program MX Player) properly from, and who besides full HD and a high bit rate even 50 fps. The built-in player does not know the format, of course, the same deep sleep the programmer as almost everywhere
- Speakers not so hot, I did not expect anything else
- Development of heat did not bother me
- Device can not display smoothly even simple websites in up and down rolls. The term "stuttering" is perhaps misleading, the screen content depends, and will not start, but he does not remain clear and sharp (this is meant by "micro stuttering"). Functionally insignificant, because you can read on immediately after a wiper; aesthetically unsatisfactory.
- High Rotating or cross edge always takes place after about one second. Not anymore.
Conclusion:
The A700 and I unfortunately do not match. The unit can do more than I need; but what I want, it may not be perfect. Despite a murder processor mundane tasks are not liquid. Maybe is able to benefit by software optimization a lot, but that's not the case now with state. I could still get used to the device, but certainly not for just under 500 euros, and certainly not if the new iPad 448, - Euro cost. I'd rather wait further, and certainly not for long.
