The positives for the time being - the stand is, though connected, very solid and can also be used for other purposes. But perhaps only once to coat with clear lacquer ... As Bokkuto (also Bokken I care) I would the "things" do not want to call. Although the wood makes a good impression, make the shortness of the attacks (especially when long stick), the rough and shaky organic wrapping (of a punched plastic-like material, which to some extent reminiscent of the originals but the palm hurts), the length of shortest Stocks (not yet Wakizashi Tanto) and the lack of any curve (Sori) (which in turn is not absolutely necessary) an exercise thus almost impossible. To practice, I pulled the black material from the handles down, the rubber coating on the bottom of the handles, the "fixed" held the grip cover, rubbed (and hence also the color ...) and the rubber rings which are now no longer available should position Tsuba, attached further towards the tip. This could work, but for beginners would be a "real" Bokkuto a better choice. As decoration but nice to look at and if it fits in perfectly (although the paint is not perfect but probably not required at the price ...), certainly an atmospheric dust catcher.
