I am now since yesterday my calipers off. The "painting" is an impertinence. The paint is thin and covers only very poorly. Total with me were 6 (yes 6) necessary hinzukriegen layers to a comprehensive and reasonably smooth color surface. Yesterday applied 4 layers, allow it to dry overnight and again today applied 2 coats. In addition, the color is never ever fahrtauglich after 24 hours. Here it is assumed that 1-2 layers of lacquer are but definitely not sufficient. 2-3 days should be given time. Overall, although it is a convenient solution but when I afterwards look back on our expense and trouble, I would not do it again so. Dear dismantle the calipers complete, sandblasting, painting or powders leave and then a new seal kit clean. Of course, it costs a lot more but it has to be reasonable / nice and the way then also new saddles.
