Actually yes a good idea! And it would have been exactly what I need in my network .... But unfortunately it has in my network configuration a huge catch: The device is functioning, and represents over my LAN USB server. But if I go down the computer, or the device does not use a while, it disappears from the network ... The installed software is then also no longer be able to find the USB Lanport!
It then helps only to restart the device in which it is done normally. That can not be the intention!
I have made a firmware update and install the latest software version. Unfortunately, with the same result.
The USB Lanport works sporadically and unreliable.
