DESIGN / HANDLING:
Who designed this device, has certainly thought about how the machine can be stored space-saving: There is a (somewhat clunky) cable storage, and shredding discs have their own drawer on the rear panel. The rest can be stacked into one another to save space, more or less.
The tank size is rather designed for a one- or two-person household as for a family. If there are potato pancakes with us, the grater container is emptied between 3x. No problem for us, but maybe not enough any.
From the appearance and the touch of the individual parts using the device does not make high-quality impression, which is at this price level but quite adequate.
Well, I think that most parts are dishwashable. (4/5 stars)
FEATURES:
- Mix: Berries and fruits are not completely crushed, smoothies remain lumpy. (0/5 stars)
- Crushing / Rub: The machine rubs fix, but unfortunately not very thoroughly. The fairly large gap between the disc and the container ensures that, for example, potatoes are comminuted undgefähr to one third - the rest hits past the disc and has to be trimmed by hand. This happens to some extent in all I know food processors, but almost 1cm thick slices are far nich nowhere come across me. (2/5 stars)
- Juicing: A solid electric grater juice that does what it should. (5/5 stars)
OPERATION:
I was a bit surprised when I read in the manual that the machine will not run more than two minutes at a time and then to rest for a minute. And in fact, the machine starts quickly on to smell of warm plastic - even the 2 minutes before expiry. If I zwerkleinere for more than two people potatoes for potato pancakes or smoothies Frozen doing that is wiklich rather unfavorable. (2/5)
VOLUME:
I liken the engine with a 6-year-old model of Kenwood, and the BEEM is there much quieter - you can listen to the radio while using still not. When visiting in consumer electronics retailing of my choice, I then tried it out machines namhafterer producers which were then empty operation but virtually noiseless in comparison with the BEEM food processor in. The machines then move however in a slightly higher price range (minimum hundred Euros more than the BEEM) and aimed presumably at a somewhat different group of buyers.
CONCLUSION:
For a single- / two-person household, in which the machine is used daily not for large-scale operations, quite a nice entry-level model. Who has higher expectations of a food processor, you should probably look at a different price range and other manufacturers.
