The backpack is very well made and has, despite that it is kept quite small, plenty of space.

I get my Canon EF-S 55-250 mm lens effortlessly upright in the backpack.
The only thing missing is a way to attach the tripod properly and he might still have a little more space for memory cards, cleaning utensils etc.. Otherwise, I'm super happy with it.
