But where only?
For me in particular, the following criteria were important:
1. completely reliable accurate setting of torque, no Pi-mal-thumb estimate Settings
2. good price (not too expensive and not too cheap)
3. must also withstand frequent hand (more than 16 nuts, 2x per year), so adequate quality
4. And most importantly, the adjustment should start no later than at 10Nm and end at least 70Nm. Otherwise you would have in fact 2 or even 3 buy different keys. But this I wanted to avoid.
In addition I have bought another 2 adapters to 1/2 and 1/4 to ever use my sockets can.
Positives:
Any legitimate skepticism about the quality of faded immediately when unpacking. The torque wrench is delivered in a great, high-quality box. That is in itself very good, so it is always kept safe. Furthermore, the key itself is very stable and robust. The adjustment works perfectly and can be rotated smoothly, as well as the direction adjustment. On the whole, feels all very professional. Nothing creaks or loose.
In the points 2, 3 and 4 I was not ever disappointed. The price is more than great, especially one saves by the really big adjustment, a second or even third copy. To that we are really well-written manual, a measurement protocol and give the box. Price / performance * 1. The scale is actually super read.
The torque wrench is of me now for some time min. 2 times a week used. However, just as a hobby. So far everything is quite and still works as the first day. A pro-key to 150, it could not be better probably.
For flexibility: 7-107 Nm really is an announcement for a product in this price range. At my KTM I can so as good as tighten all screws. Starting with the fuel cock, which requires only 6 Nm (6 or 7 does not matter), through to the swingarm pin, the whole 100Nm wants. Even the lug nuts on my Punto are still possible;) Only primary and swing degree not go more who want to have min. 150Nm. But I do not expect.
On point 1, I can not say anything because I have not measured the accuracy. The included measurement protocol seems, however credible.
Only but a few negative things that struck me:
In the upper areas, ie from 50Nm that turning the adjustment falls quite difficult. Etc. no big deal, but without gloves could be driven to despair there already.
Clicking, so the sign that the set value has been reached, with higher value ever louder. And of course, vice versa, that is, under 15Nm the environment should not be too loud, otherwise you hear about the fast times.
The locking screw is not necessarily the truth. Although tightly closed, you can still easily adjust the value gaanz. No doomsday, but still. Dear look even more often if you have nothing moved.
Final Conclusion So Inexpensive tool with high quality, great price, great setting ranges & plus for frequent use suitable. What do they want more? Actually, we should all buy 2 or more keys by 70 per piece, declare foolish. This one to 35, it does just as good!
Meanwhile, I wonder how I made it at all to get along without a torque wrench.
I hope I could help one or the other with my review.
