I bought this model because I also have the PHDC-1 case (Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case Portable Hard Disk ethylene-vinyl acetate molded black) of the same make and I was very satisfied.

However this new model is really just to house my hard drive Storeva - HDD Enclosure 2.5 "- HDD Enclosure 2.5" USB 3.0 Storeva Xslim Blue. There's really no wasted space, it's right disk size, I'm lucky! 1 cm longer and it did not pass over.

Moreover, this case seems less resistant than the old PHDC-1 because it is thinner. To see if it is a problem to use. But perceived quality is good.

In short, I am satisfied with this purchase, but check the size of your hard drive before you buy.
