Robust but extra external battery weight and limited power.

The German brand Varta joined the long list of extra battery manufacturers with a Chinese-made products too.
The idea is tantalizing and quickly find this kind of essential accessory to overcome the autonomy too just smartphones or other tablets used extensively.
Used immediately as it comes with a full charge. Are provided a synthetic carrying pouch and a micro USB to USB cable to charge the battery in 7 hours. As always, the charging cables to the devices are not provided but just use your Apple or other models.

However, this battery is very powerful: only 6000 mAh. Many appliances exceed 15000 mAh and allow them 10 iPhone recharges after 3 or 4 against for Varta ...
The battery provides two USB connectors for charging:
- First provides 1.0A for charging phones or iPods ...
- The second provides 2.4A for more powerful devices like the Galaxy tablets or iPads
A line of 4 blue LEDs provides information on the battery charge. Once a connected device, a switch (see picture) allows the initiation of charging and the LEDs flash.

The special feature of this model is its IP67 which makes it resistant to water and dust. It also has a protective rubber coating absorbs drops up to 2 meters. This robustness will carry around this accessory during outdoor activities rather than a hand in a bag or pocket a city where power outlets are more widespread ...

Unfortunately, this strength is paid on the balance (and a little bit on the price): 238 grams.
