It was burning with desire to listen long after the brilliant "Urk", dating from 1989 already anyway, and the top of the long and rich discography Nits as perfectly reflecting the energy, freshness and fantasy of group scene. "Hotel Europa" was one of the most exciting project since almost exactly covering the last 25 years of concerts by the wonderful Batavians through LEUROPE Except that turns out rough disappointment behind a beautiful cover pictures of hotel rooms across the European continent and through time - the musical content of "Hotel Europa" is extremely poor, and offers us quune lean doccasions handle to amaze us as formerly on the creativity of the trio. Most of the time, this interminable double album does not release quun deep trouble, and even a little discomfort at times while Henk and his cronies make choices dorchestrations at least questionable, if not ugly and ridiculous: what happens in the excitement of the moment turns out much less digestible once etched to léternité. The main cause of this semi-disaster lies in the selection of the pieces, which largely unpublished merely some fans, I can admit it - but clearly deserving of the stay, the song list carefully avoiding the most known songs and most enjoyable (even if the end of the second CD fortunately overtaking a little it). One can also see in this "Hotel Europa" confirmation that the creative vein of our dear Nits sest gradually exhausted, what one obviously suspected tuned dalbums who had become over time more and more disembodied. Without doubt it is time for the Nits bend their saplings, not to spoil the wonderful memories we have that they offered during the first part of their long career.
