I have tested the boxes in detail with many songs from my extensive mp3 collection of my laptop and am very satisfied. The sound is thanks to the combination of high and midrange, and the built-in bass tubes balanced and ideally suited for use as a PC speaker. The boxes have an elegant design are high quality finish, have a slim design that takes away too much space and come with no subwoofer. Very handy are the headphone and Aux In inputs on the front panel. The signal transmission is fine (tested with good Sony headphones and mp3 player). The matte-black paint with piano lacquer veneers front and top fits perfectly with my notebook. These boxes, the developers of Creative have done an excellent job. As a further development could still add a separate on / off button. Absolutely necessary, it is not, you can the boxes via a power strip with a switch on / off. For me it goes smoothly without any noticeable noise. The Amazon product figure in the plan view (shown here the bass tubes) does not reflect reality and should be updated. Conclusion: Absolutely recommendable product with good price / performance ratio
