Solution:
By chance I came in early December in a Bose store where the solo was just presented.
The demo showed a distinct difference between TV and Solo, which was heard as just sounded good. But it would be enough even in my large living room?
Since a good piece was not available, had enough time to test some other sound bars.
So off to the markets and compare. From Samsung LG to Yamaha it was a great choice. Some models sounded good, others rather mikrig, but with all that bothered me the front of the TV to Legend Bar, which would also cover the infrared sensor with me.
The benefits of sound bars are USB port, tone control, HDMI input, and partly more powerful bass through subwoofer, which however needs additional space and not always in harmony with the sound bar.
And actually I'm looking for a way to sound for movies, news and so on to improve, so that the voices come out better and the sound is full.
For music programs and satellite radio the good stereo dock is available.
Then suddenly lit up last week in status "available in stock" on.
So ordered immediately and get the device to short 2 days.
The structure is very simple, unfortunately came after connecting the optical cable, no sound of the solo. Unfortunately, the Toshiba XV55 support this output only when one is in DTV mode. I am using 2 connected satellite receiver (ATV mode) of the optical output is inactive.
Then via RCA to 3.5mm jack with the earphone output.
The sound immediately fascinated me. All frequencies are reproduced very well, the sound is detailed and vivid. Even bass are present, however, comes to the TV broadcast to. Thanks to the advice given here I put the sound on the TV to my needs then a (slight increase of treble and bass).
A test to TV RCA jacks with the supplied RCA cable brought nothing, the sound with the small 3.5mm plug is equivalent, but has the advantage of sound regulation.
Conclusion:
a good compact device that fully meets my demands on sound quality.
A star deduction I give due to lack of tone control and volume indicator, missing HDMI port (or more RCA connectors) that would increase my usage possibilities yet. In addition, the price is imho something excessive, the high demand allowed Bose but to demand it.
Too bad that so quickly accustomed to the good sound ;-)
