It is a dream of kid that I finally realized: my first telescope. I took advantage of the warm nights of early spring to try my new toy and I'm not disappointed. The delivery was fast (2 days). The installation description is not quite the schemes, especially for the viewfinder that I have plumbed the first time. Once the telescope up, I was a little skeptical about its capabilities. Indeed, despite the bottom of tightening screws, all moves and does not facilitate the first observations. The first setting of the viewfinder is paramount to then get to pick the stars. I advise you to do the day-to a distant point as a bell tower for example. The little red light is to finely focus like a sniper. I then referred Jupiter that evening, very easy to locate to the west in the early evening (I live in the Paris region) and I was amazed to observe the star but also its 4 moons impossible to spot with the naked eye or even binoculars. Tonight I come to observe perfectly Mars and Saturn with its rings especially easily identifiable to the bezel. Aiming is particularly hardue. The foot trembles at the slightest touch. To begin observation, must be used with a view to 20 minutes very bright, then with the optical GROSSIRE 12.5 mn and finally to perfectly see the details, use the optical 4 minutes but things get complicated because it shakes a lot to the slightest touch, light is much lower but mostly we realize the speed of the Earth's rotation by seeing the star away and disappear from view. Then they must quickly return the magnification 20 minutes to recalibrate the target. Here is my review a bit long but I wanted to share my experience after a week of use. This is a first investment. Next time I will buy a telescope. I am satisfied with my purchase especially considering the reasonable price. This is a good value for budding astronomers.
