Here, the power supply does not whistle, at least not in the volume in which it did so from Series 5. If you go right up close to the ear can hear sounds also. But who does?.
Shaving: I used to date only a cheap Panasonic for dry shaving, and was usually only moderately satisfied. Thus, a wet shave was the only solution. I did not give up and tried the 5 Series which brought a great result and I was able to remove all the stubble clean relatively quickly. By problems with the power supply I reached one step higher on the Series 7 and must say that this is the ne plus ultra. It can be set individually by the 3-Setting. But I use it at the highest level and am fully satisfied. Goes even slightly faster than the 5 Series.
Cleaning Station:
At only 5 Series is a mode available and this cleans very well in about 3 minutes. Pleasant lemon scent remains on the shaver. Unfortunately, it takes a relatively long time until it's really dry. But if you clean it in the morning after shaving, it is purely in the morning dry and hygienic. In Series 7, there are different programs that are automatically selected depending on the use of the razor. The program lasts longest in 42 minutes. Advantage to this location is that the shaving head is heated during cleaning, thus dries this quickly. A quick cleaning can also be selected.
Important for both cleaning stations is that you can re-closes the cleaning cartridge with the lid. Otherwise the alcoholic solution evaporates faster. Thus, the cartridge Hoelt longer. Downside is that you have to leave the station above.
