Packaging / Design:
The packaging is not spectacular, but the value of the unit adequately; it protects the device sufficiently. The clear font allows for a look at the successful design. It designed an attractive and compact device in which the materials and processing are consistent. The volume control, is well protected on a corner and has next to its attractive design and a high functionality. It is easy to find and use, and the usual + / - keys preferable. The speakers can be safely parked on any flat surface using rubberized annular bottom.
The connections:
The BT2500 can both Bluetooth (Bluetooth 4.0 or lower) as well as a 3.5mm jack to connect.
The connection via Bluetooth works without problem on Windows notebook and on my Android devices (Samsung Galaxy, Nexus 10, Sony Xperia). My old MP3 player I can easily operate with an audio cable; such is unfortunately not included.
The battery can be charged via the included USB cable; today a common charger for mobile phones as well performs its duties.
Sound:
Here I experienced a positive surprise! For the size of the unit, the sound is surprisingly good. The volume can convince in connection with an anti-override function well. Of course you can not expect the sound quality of a HIFI. If you want to but the chill have outdoors a little sound in the background, it is the ideal instrument. In addition, it is also reachable by phone, without having to reset or something Umstöpseln.
Operation:
The operation is simple; the keys and slide switches give no Rätzel. A built-in microphone allows using a small button to use as a speakerphone. The volume can be adjusted via the rotary wheel.
A colored LED warns of low battery charge by flashing or information on charge status and Bluetooth mode.
Conclusion:
I hold the device for a convincing, small speaker on the move with clear buy recommendation. The running time of 5 hours has surpassed my device clearly, but I could not let it run all the time at full volume (because of the neighbors). In an additional power supply or jack cable you can certainly do without. (Of which there is usually enough anyway in the home.) But a small protective pouch would in my opinion at that part; then the supply would be perfect.
