BUT: Why neutered TomTom software compared to the "Auto" -Navis so brutal (use ultimately related hardware from the same source code?)?
Example 1: Rider 1 and 2 could still use online services: Transport Service (Yes, TomTom, and motorcyclists are not like in a traffic jam!) And Buddy-Service ("Where to stay my passengers?") Were extremely helpful and are sorely missed ,
Example 2: The hardware would give any problem, a few MP3s on device to store and on the headset for less boredom to stream during long motorway stages - nil, as a function does not exist.
Example 3: TomTom's update policy is a farce. Under the hood is (apart from the larger flash memory and larger screen) the current model hardware equally compared to its predecessor (Urban Rider). Nevertheless, there are no devices for the past firmware updates anymore, although technically feasible without problems (enthusiasts and hackers prove about "Frankenstein" -Builds that work surprisingly well). This means that buyers of this device must be prepared to have to live with the features that are now available. If the follow-up model new and interesting features become available later, you have to sell or throw away a perfectly good hardware yet Navi, although there is not the slightest technical necessity.
Another point of criticism: The included point-of-interests are not really matched well to motorcyclists. Where are lists popular biker gatherings, motorcycle-friendly hotel, where are the directories of Honda (motorcycle) traders, triumph workshops and all other brands?
