I use these sticks both on a snare drum on the go (Spielmannzugstrommel), as well as for various cowbells, or even to herumzudreschen on upturned buckets of plastic or metal.
Even if the drives should have got wet, nothing bad happened. Its length provides good leverage and other effects. They are not too heavy, but still almost unkapputbar.
Sometimes I sit still plastic tips (not included), which are all for 2 - can get 3 euros. But mostly I like the effect without additional tips.
I recommend these sticks for beginners and even advanced users to have a "minimum" or as test sticks for this, so to speak, most field, forest and meadow applications. One needs now times more than one pair. For blue moon can go not only something broken (in my case not yet happened in these sticks), but it can also sometimes another drummer unexpectedly to join or something.
Only a few professional drummers are sometimes more expensive, and sometimes need more different kinds of sticks, z. B. in different lengths or spans with felt or plastic Köppeln and so on. These are processed sometimes even more complicated and cost-fast times sixfold.
