Caveat:
The installation of CD went reasonably fast and also patching afterwards has taken too much time to complete. That a U-play account of this game needs did not bother me because I do not intend to sell my games anyway. The fact that you have to always be online while playing, is for me is not a problem, because I have a relatively fast and stable Internet connection.
The game:
In contrast to the previous parts of this play Anno-part, as the title suggests, in the future. This setting has a surely not like, but I find that it sometimes takes a little variety to the whole. As modes of the usual endless mode, a campaign and various individual missions are available, some of which are playable in singleplayer, but some also in multiplayer. In addition there are so-called world events. These are issues that are in difficulty 'Simple', 'medium' and 'heavy' playable. As a reward you get various improvements, buildings or items unlocked (These are also available through various DLCs). The special thing about these missions is that they are not always available.
Now to the actual game. At the beginning of a game you can choose between 2 factions. The Ecos and Tycoons to. Both are independent groups that have each 4 levels of civilization, a monument and its own forms of building. The Ecos, the Group, which focuses on sustainability and renewable energy, the tycoons pursuit of progress and do not pay attention especially on the environment. Added to this are the Techs, representing the researchers in this game. They only have 2 levels of civilization. With them you can explore improvements, and other items.
New Releases:
New in this part of Anno, the energy and the Ökobillanz. Energy is I think self-explanatory. The Ökobillanz illustrates how dirty an island. Depending on how high the pollution residents' satisfaction and productivity of agricultural buildings is affected. Also new is the Ark system allowing items or goods to another game to bring the players or equip improvements for all games. To that we the electoral system, in which you can choose one of the three parties and then get different effects and skills for the game. Also new is the second game level, the deep sea. On the small plateau under water you have to now build buildings to promote besispielsweise algae or diamonds which are then needed for the production chains of the other goods.
Conclusion:
I think that Anno 2070 is a successful successor to the Anno series. Who even a little change from the Middle Ages need for the game is just right.
