From this machine I am slightly disappointed. The only innovative is this "shower head technology" - a plastic tube that goes across the filter and has a plurality of holes. Soo much faster than our old Rowenta Robusta - machine (which is now about 17 years down the pot has) it is not ... How long does the coffee in the Kane stays hot, I do not know. Half an hour before - after the coffee is drunk anyway (which you should do anyway - coffee, the standing around for hours in the jug, is kind of yuck ...). Although I under "hot" something else understand - the coffee is good warm, but not (properly) hot. Can just as our "old". Visually, the machine looks good, with just the pot outside in brushed metal, top filter bowl plastic. Speaking of plastic: the machine stinks strongly of (cheap) plastic, even after two operating only with clear water and after two correct brewing operations. Although I was not thrilled by the final product - the coffee tasted like plastic, and was not particularly aromatic (same amount of powder and water as the hand broths, just as well as the same type of coffee). For a 10 euros - product from the junk box at discounters as what may be normal, but not in a product, which is almost 50 euros costs. That now has nothing with "greed is good" to do - the machine has indeed zero equipment (except for the annoying and superfluous beeper). No, I prefer to invest a little more time and broth continue on with his hand. This plastic smell is not at all that I had in any kitchen appliance !!! I will make one or two Brühversuche when then nothing improves, she goes back.
