A bit of anticipation for this film, I had already. But I have no such profound gem expected. The film is well thought out, the actors are great and the story captivates from the very beginning. Unfortunately, there are one or the other length, just in the first 20 minutes, but in retrospect everything seems pretty consistent. Whoever expects a pure action blockbuster, is here at the wrong address. "Looper" is a sci-fi thriller drama with head, heart and - yes - soul.
