Superb design, excellent workmanship, excellent features, Bad Price

Style:
The design compared with the G15 Gen.1 has improved considerably. On the Schreibteisch the keyboard much more compact and less cumbersome comes across as the G15 Gen. 1.
The Placement of the keys are designed this time a lot more compact and more beautiful. Especially the compact media keys I like very much.
The design is also much more noble (for example, the Logitech logo made of metal) and 12G keys (instead of 18) in my opinion are more than adequate.
Another highlight is of course the free choice of color of the button illumination. It has finally made keyboard as with the Saitek Cyborg and the user left the possibility to adapt the color of ambient and taste (which you can choose even here all possible colors) Logitech. Another great thing about this is that you walk through the three G - also the same can assign three different color profiles (M1, M2, M3) and can switch through quickly.

Since this keyboard now also has two USB 2.0 hubs, there is a small additional power supply, but that does not bother me particularly (eh have enough electrical outlets next to the PC - as a male is more not bad).
Only the cable of the keyboard is thus but much thicker, which looks a little worse than before.

Processing:
The build quality is excellent. The keys are clearly more comfortable than the old G15. So the pressure point is very soft and reminds me slightly to notebook keyboards, which are only designed here the buttons are not as flat, but normal.
The buttons on his own are much grip, soft and angenhmer. It feels to me as if they had a very slight rubber coating.
It gives me personally a lot of fun with this new feeling to write and also the "sound" when keystroke sounds very nice.

Features:
The typical G - keys, as always there and who had to do with the previous keyboards is there not notice any difference in the options.
The other highlight is the new display that not in 16: 9 format and therefore in my videos and pictures seem easy to compress.
Nevertheless, it's a fun tool, for example, if you do not have a second monitor and want to see more while playing a video or the like. Is currently but rather only gimmick.
Yet only the standard applets are namely unfortunately exist, which is why this display can be used to its full potential yet.
