Although this testimony remains poignant and upsetting, I preferred that of Primo Levi and Shlomo Venezia in "If This Is a Man" and "Sonderkommando" in the sense that the latter two are more descriptive of the historical context perspective but especially in the analysis of what humanity is placed in this type of context. Asked whether I liked it or not this testimony about the Holocaust Elie Wiesel, is only related to the fact of what I was looking for and what I could find such answers. Here my questions remained incomplete (hence the 3 out of 5 stars). This does not detract from the quality of the story and my recommendations to read it.
